Triplets?!

"As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth." Psalm 127:4

Three at once! People think we are crazy. "Wow - instant family!" - is the most common response to our news, with "Do you know what you're getting into?" as a frequent follow-up. Actually, we were kind of wondering ourselves! Well, yes, we're getting a whole family at one time, and no, we really don't know! But how can we? We are doing our best to be as prepared as possible, and trust for God to take care of the rest! He will lead us, as He has done so well so far.

Antonio is the oldest, nine on December 22nd. His full name is actually Manuel Antonio Ortiz, and we first knew him as Manuel. It's still a little confusing, but we've been told he goes by Tono, Tonio, or something like that. He has "typical" boyish desires of balls, cars, trains, and blue.

Carmen is the middle, the only girl. She's seven on October 30th. Like most girls in that predominantly Catholic country, her first name is Maria. Everyone knows her by Carmen, though. She loves pots and pans, and pink.

Felix is the baby, only two years old on November 9th. He adores Antonio, following him everywhere, and playing together.

None of them speak English. We don't know what kind of education they've had, or what kind of Bible teaching they've learned. We know so little about them! It will be a great challenge, but we are looking forward to being their parents!
