What makes a good game? There are so many games, and so much junk, that it's hard for me to justify spending money on them! I have purchased many games, of course, but here are the free gems from my (not particularly fanatical) gaming experience. I like a puzzle, but it has to be fun while it's at it.

    Blobby Volley is an action-filled multiplayer-capable, addictive , simple game. It is a volleyball game for normally 2 players. But it is also possible to play against one of 3 different computer controlled opponents or to watch 2 computer players playing against each other. In fact, most fun is playing with a friend. Caution: It ist possible, that, after a match with a friend, the keyboard or the mouse is not there where it was when the game began. (This doens't mean that playing against the computer is less fun. Even the easy one is a challenge - for beginners)

    Got to be the all-time best game. Simple, addictive, and slick graphics that run on any Windows 95+ system. Use a paddle to bounce the ball into the bricks and get the high score!

    A great stress-relief game. Pull out your shotgun and pick off the flying turkeys, if you're fast enough. Watch out for some of the ads on the company's website, it's for a German magazine.

    Sokoban means warehouse keeper in Japanese. The object of the game is to push boxes (or balls) into their correct position in a crowded warehouse with a minimal number of pushes and moves. The boxes can only be pushed, never pulled, and only one can be pushed at a time. It sounds easy, but the levels range from very easy to extremely difficult, some takes hours and even days to figure out. The simplicity and elegance of the rules have made Sokoban one of the most popular logic games.

Iceland, the Sahara, Alaska, Costa Rica, Amazonas and Yemen are just some of the new places you get to visit.
