Praying to God

Wait for the Lord, patiently. Yet at th same time, cry to the Lord realzing who you're crying to and waiting on:

• God's doings Ps 40:1-5
  • He brought me out of the pit
  • He set my feet on solid ground
  • He put a new song in my mouth, praising God
  • He is my trust, instead of supposedly powerful people
  • He has done many wonderful things
  • He has many thoughts toward us
• God's will Ps 40:6-11
  • He doesn't want sacrifice and offering
  • He loves me doing His will
  • He wants his word in my heart
  • He wants to be bragged about
  • His mercy and truth preserve me
• God's fight Ps 40:12-15
  • He delivers and helps when evil and my own sin attack and discourage me
  • He shames and confuses those who mock Him
• God's heart Ps40:16-17
  • He brings joy and gladness to those who love His salvation
  • He thinks on me, even though I am poor and needy
  • He is my help and deliverer
