Antichrists

John writes about people who are antichrist 1Jo 2:18-29. He refers to "that" antichrist, but makes the point that even now (in his and our times) there are many antichrists. What characterizes an antichrist?

1. There are not of us
2. Denies Jesus Christ and His Father
3. Liar

What characterizes the children of God?

1. Annointing from the Holy One (the word is the actual stuff!)
2. Know all things
3. Know the truth
4. Taught the truth by the annointing

How does annointing teach? That has to mean the Holy Spirit, right? Yes, because that jives with Jo 16:14.
