Cliffhanger

So... I am particularly horrible about starting a sentence and then not finishing it. My husband sometimes sits patiently and waits for me to finish, and other times, just wanders off realizing he might never know what I was meaning to say. Today, I was talking about how the kids didn't seem to miss the pepporoni on the homemade pizza (a red light food because of the nitrites). However, an email came in at the same time, so I was distracted. I ended up simply saying, "They didn't seem to miss......

My husband sat looking at me to see if I might continue, and then burst out in song, "Cliff Hanger, hanging from a cliff".

Who knows why I found it so funny, but have you seen the PBS Cliff Hanger? Because I think it is hilarious!
